I've broken through the
Kiev defenses and have streamed a lot of units across the river and now I'm forming another new front line to press to the east as much as possible. Whether or not to continue the advance in this area depends on the supply level next turn. A repaired rail passes through Kiev and heads
NE so maybe the supply situation might be sufficient and then some next turn. All the aircraft are green and only about a dozen bombers are resting even though they are green because their supply level dropped below
50%. I'm optimistic about future turns.

Here's what it looks like down south right now. I'm using the Axis Minor Country Allies to handle the
Crimea while the Germans press toward
Kharkov to the east. The Italians are assisting the drive on
Kherson to get into the Crimea ASAP. It's
July 30, 1941 and there's lots of time left to reach
Stalingrad before deep winter weather sets in. Those units driving toward
D-town and
Z-town are in territory that has
NO supply at all. Hopefully it will next turn or else I may have to supplement the number of RR engineers down here and perhaps put the local advance on hold for a turn or two.

I finally captured
Leningrad and now I'm going to try to surround the Soviet units in that area and destroy them. The supply levels are low on the east edge of the advance so I'll have to monitor that because I don't want to drive my units into an area where there's no supply and make my units overextended. I'm going to use the Finns to move to the
NE from here. I'd like to use the Germans to move
SE from here toward
Moscow to open up another avenue of approach for the Soviets to defend against.

As you can see the supply levels thin out around
Bryansk and I may have to put the advance on hold for a turn or two to let the supply increase a little. Plus I need to review my RR engineer deployment policy to get the assets to the right place to do the most good righ now. I've been concentrating on the
Moscow area to keep that advance going as a priority. So depending on what the supply levels are in that AO I may be transfering some RR engineers to this area to help out.

As you can see the supply level is nill around the tip of the spear in the deep south. That's going to make getting across the river problematic. The rail is repaired to just south of
Uman so I'm hoping that it will encourage the supply level to rise a little. I may have to halt the advance for a turn or two to get the kinds of supply I'd like to see.

I like the mods made by Don (Zovs) so much that I'm going to restart and use his scenario. Here's what it looks like on my machine. I'm using the new Boardgame style.
