I was planning on doing an update with the Ukraine included, but I dont know. They use such a mass of strange kit, with contradictory figures, I really wonder if its at all viable. Its really difficult to even get figures for the latest updated T64's.

Thats the nice thing about earlier periods, most of the information has been declassified by now.

Ok, so firstly, apologies for taking this down. I was trying to upload something to my dropbox account, saw a file called 'armoured brigade' and forgot what it was an purged it. So for all those trying to down load it for the past 2 months, im very sorry, call it a senior moment.
The good news is, ive still got it, and ive done an update and added Ukraine. I dont want to make any political comments about the war, or seek any, other than I suspect we agree all war should be on a tv screen involving sprites instead of real people.
Now I make no claims for excellence here. There are things wrong im sure, I suspect Bulat doesnt have armour this good, I suspect, and as the debate on tanknet has convinced me, I dont think the Ukrainians have much in the way of T80UD or Oplot. Still, they are fun weapons to try out, you dont have to use them, and the NLAW has finally become a lethal tank killer.

Ive cut Russian training quite a bit for reasons I suspect you can probably figure out. I probably ought to modify it so that the Armata's dont deploy. But still, its a game, and no reason not to try these systems out.

Not made a change to much else. Ajax has a skin created from an overhead from a trade video (time will tell if it ever see's service or not). Ive included Ukrainian skins for Su25 and a new Su24. Oh, and infantry have all had their speed doubled, so they move at what should be a realistic pace for a man running. It will be interesting to see if you find that makes debussing from villages under threat of soviet tanks easier or not.

Anyway hope it all works, have fun if it does.

New sprites? Post it up, I wouldnt mind making it an official incorporation.

Original drawings found online, then set to scale, modified and resized and changed to PNG my work

Still not very happy with the mi-28 sprite, also i made the missiles that go with the helos like Hermes, khrisantema etc (i posted first on the post 1991 thread)

I find it they sometimes whirl a lot as they move?

Found this the strahz (sentinel) a Ukrainian armored vehicle based on the T64

As heavily armoured as it is armed with two rapid-firing cannons, four anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and an automatic grenade launcher and
two 7.62mm machine guns are fitted in between the 30mm cannons

Armor (hull): Front: 120 mm steel, 105 mm glass fibre, 40 mm steel, Sides: 80 mm steel, Kontakt 1 ERA on hull and sides

Armor (turret): probably eats autocannon shots

Main armament: 2 × 30 mm ZTM-2 autocannons, 4 × ATGM launchers capable of firing Konkurs and R-2 Baryer ATGM

Secondary armament: 2 × 7.62 mm PKT coaxial machine gun

I made a first draft of the Strazh from the T64 hull and the BMP turret

now someone has to give it :

I present you the Ukrainian Strazh (sentinel) IFV

Based on the T-64 hull (i modified the existing one to get it to look more like the real thing, adding some era)

Turret made from photos and an in-game BMP turret heavily reworked

That Strazh BMPT is a very cool stuff - both your work and the real thing (until know I had no idea that such project even existed).
