Strange. The game starts correctly if I load it. Everything looks to be in good order.

Yes it could be a memory leak but it must be a big one. My PC is set up to run numerous virtual linux machines and has 32GB of RAM. (No virtual machines are running when I play the game).

Matrix World in Flames is a 32-bit program and limited to 4GB of memory.

Shame. Know of any plans to update it to 64-bit? Or have a 64-bit version?

Maybe it's version specific. I'm running 3.2.0 and I run into these issues regularly. eg, Had the same missing phase/date details after loading the save game today. They came back when I progressed to the next phase, but then the date when AWOL again for numerous phases.

OK, I'm back about the more serious problem where the end phase button is greyed out and I can't progress.

I'm at the land move (axis) phase. I've moved all the units I want to move. But the end phase button is greyed out again.

FIX: I moved a polish unit one hex to the west in Poland. Done this before and it seems to fix the problem. Worked again but why?

Use the up arrow at the top left of the form to roll the form up.
Then roll it back down.
This should cause the form to be re-drawn with everything showing.

Doesn't stop the problem but at least gets around it.

I will try that the next time it happens.

Thanks, it just happened again so I tried your work-around and all the missing info is now there!

This is happening on other phases as well. For eg, railway movement. I didn't want any railway movement, but the game wouldn't progress unless I moved something. Work around is to move something, then CTRL-Z to cancel it. Phase button then turns green and you can carry on as normal. Same with the land move phase above. Move a unit then CTRL-Z.

So many bugs, but you can work around them. Hope the bugs get fixed.

I did see that your command form is in the left upper corner of the screen. Try moving it to the right (but not in the right corner), so that the pop up screens on the left don't cover the command form.

Perhaps that is the solution for your problems (it was for me in the far distant past)...
