As a bit of advice, if you are interested in beta testing, please make sure you have not previously unsubscribed from all mass mailings from us. Two of those selected for the first beta wave had and as a result we could not add them to our mailing database. For those two folks, I've reached out by private e-mail separately to confirm interest.

I applied to the Beta, and I'm exceptionally special (my mother always told me so), yet no invitation has arrived

(Good luck with the first round of BetaTesting! I hope it's as productive as I'm sure it will be fun! I can't wait to hear more, and for the final release!!!)

No, the mailing will be going out on Monday, just preparing it today. FYI for those concerned whether they may be unsubscribed, we use Constant Contact (www.constantcontact.com) for our mass-mailings and it's possible if you've globally unsubscribed from their mailings because of spam from other companies that it would also prevent us from mailing you. In a few rare cases, these mass mailings are also blocked by ISPs/mail servers.

Got a bad feeling I didn't get in, should have gone into more detail on my experience with beta testing instead of just generalising it.

Curiously, I was being spammed with an email for every single post made in this forum and now I am getting virtually nothing.

Looking at the 'My Profile' settings, I cannot explain why I am getting any at all .

Private PM e-mail notification is on. Ack!

Look under "subscriptions" at the top of the forum page. You have to subscribe to the forums that you want....GP

And I seem to recall seeing many E-Mail options. But now I only see one: Email notification of new Private Message.
But I am getting email notifs for thread posting replies . Apparently subscribing to a forum automatically subscribes me to all it's threads?

Beta invites are now in the process of being mailed out. Thank you again, the response to beta recruitment was well beyond what we expected. Apologies to those that didn't make it into the first wave, hopefully you will have a spot in future waves as testing continues.
