Angriff V1.02 is released:

Description:
The Angriff version is an all new version for LSA that depicts the first days of the attack on Stalingrad in september 1942.
The first release will be the completed mod but with only the 16 maps of south Stalingrad (from Kuibyshev sawmill to the Tsaritsa) + op/battle for this area.
German attacks will come from the west side of the map. Russian reinforcements will come across the Volga.

The mod will use new highly detailed maps based on aerial photography and photographs of the time period, new data and forcepools based on historic research, a new stategic map and a new UI.

!!!!!!!!!Make sure you have the latest LSA version installed (6.00.05)!!!!!!!!!!
If you doubt this patch is installed, check your stock LSA mainscreen, the version is displayed in the lower right corner.
The Angriffv1.02 mainscreen will always display 6.00.05 even if this patch hasn't been installed on your PC.

Hi,
I love this CC game series and especially the Angriff mod. I've been reading a lot of stuff on Stalingrad over the last 18 months or so and in particular books by David M Glantz. Your mod helps brings to life that epic struggle and can't wait for further updates to this mod. Thank you for V1.02 I've just downloaded it after having played V1.01 on and off for the last 18 months/2 yrs approx'. I was wondering how close you are to releasing Part 2 the Central part of Angriff?

Thank you guys again for all the exceptional hard work you have put in to this your dedication is second to none.

Thank you for your compliments (they are our only salary ;) ).
Mod progress is good. We will soon enter in a beta phase. The team is working hard for the moment (Dima with the BGs, new units and vehicles, Kanov has done a great work on the vids, Schnellemeyer is coding hard and Aetius is doing a ton of things..too many things to describe here! ). Some new maps are also ready. No date as it is impossible for me to know when I will finish all the maps (41 maps in total for this part : 23 are completely finished, 10 are almost finished, 5 are untouched, 3 still need a lot of work).
