Yes. [:)]
Funny now the debate is on the size of the combat ration for German army.

Oh boy. I had put my money on...
"Four-wheeled trucks vs. six wheeled trucks: advantages and disadvantages of supply efficiency vs. rubber consummation..."
...to break out first. [:(]
I put my comment in even though I haven't looked at the game. [;)]

I have absolutely nothing to add to this thread, but I thought I'd make a meaningless post anyway.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, the "Battle of the books" is in full swing.

What USS Enterprise: CV-6, CVN-65 or NCC-1701?
There is only one Enterprise. It is on my left. [:)]
So, NCC-1701E?
Yes

I know only to people who liked "Star Trek: Nemesis": me and Patrick Stewart (who was miffed when the movie wasn't well received). Should we make three? [:)]

+1, I liked the book about his service to the animals.
Grandpa had Holsteins! Then my uncle had beef cattle after grandpa retired.
Fresh cream - the real stuff that floats to the top of the milk - served on freshly picked raspberries . . . . [:D]

Not really, but most of the regulars will be there at any rate, so don't be alarmed if you say hello here, and no one responds
Things will get back to ordinary soon enough.
Grigsby's wargames have the unique ability to bring out the hidden Sheldon in their players. There are a lot of great games and great designers, but only Grigsby has this power... [:'(]
With great power comes great responsibility....Penny, see how much like Sheldon I sound, it’s un canny.....

We don't even need to imagine things. The famous episode where Sheldon inflicts "Campaign for North Africa" on the band gives a good example of Penny faced with "detailed" wargames [:)]

Absolutely. For someone who enjoys Starfleet command, the final battle in Nemesis was superb.

For any trek fans, check out online Lost Horizons mod lets play vids for PDX Stellaris.
All iconic TV series stories are used as events when you explore a planet for the first time, you then interact in the story, and get an outcome based on the multiple choice answers you give, so if you recognise the event story you do ok, otherwise you can lose iconic characters by your choices, it also has story arcs, Khan etc in game, arguably the most detailed Star Trek game out there, not played the base game since it came out.

IIRC as part of the promotion for the movie you could download the scenario from the movie site. Something like that, anyway. I remember coming back from the theater and playing it.

My memory is fuzzy but IIRC I lost. It was 23 years ago. Unbelievable. Tom Hardy was a kid in that movie.

I told you my memory was fuzzy [:)]
Meanwhile, I fished out the soundtrack. The last that Jerry Goldsmith did for Star Trek IIRC.
I have to rewatch this movie. It is on Netflix. No one among my friends liked it. I did, but I don't remember the details. I wonder if my opinion would be different today.

Wow. When you refuse to die young, eventually everything seems a long time ago
