The above are work in progress.
Still working on terrain, resources and units.
Don't forget to use the scenario editor to switch map text to dark for best effect.
Feedback welcome.

Just wanted to say the mod is on ice for the moment while I play the game.
Using my tiles and ocean mods listed above with
pHalen's units mod, (with blue colour tweaked China units).
Uxbridges' resources, weather and terrain file. (Slightly tweaked to change the white runway and arrows black).
Also used editor to change text from light to dark.

The game now feels suitably 'cardboard' enough to capture the feel I wanted to play.
Will push pixels again at a later date.

Nice to hear, Magpius. It's good when you finally reach that status. I'm there too, especially since I have now crammed the map with names to fill the large, empty spaces where nothing seems to live.

Give us a screenie from your current map. I'm interested to see it.

With the tiles.png as an underlay a wide variety of map colours can easily be done.

Looks very nice. Just like an old boardgame.

Funny to see one owns graphic mixed with others. But I just changed the resource symbols, and are now trying a new look. I will post a screenshot of it on in my own thread as to not make people confused by showing it here.

wow looks incredible. You should lower the alpha channel on the convoy hexagons.

I believe you’re getting very close to as good as the WPP map can be modded.
At least without completely re-drawing terrain images etc.
