Some feedback on the Front insignias. If you remove the ornament above the banners, they can probably be enlarged (or at least moved upwards) to align better with the HQ counter. It think it would look better.

Yeah, that was how they were in the first version, I tried something new here. But you're probably right, alignment wise it looks better. I'll most likely change that back for the next patch.

Addon now adds 269 Soviet Unit insignias.

Patchnotes:
- Added insignia for all Airborne Brigades, and their Corps HQs. The yellow text used denotes units with higher base morale. (I believe this is the historically correct badge used, as always feel free to contact me if you know this is not the case.)
- Reverted the Front insignias to earlier version, better aligned with the unit marker.

Adds 370 Soviet unit insignias

v1.4 Patch notes:
- Added insignia for all Ski Brigades (1-61) and Ski Battalions (1-277, 500-529). Red star w blue outline denotes battalion.
- Added missing insignia for 10th Reserve Army.
- Improved fidelity of Front insignias (text was somewhat blurry).
- Fixed Moscow Defense Zone name.

Updated to v1.5
Adds 943 new Soviet unit insignia

v1.5 Patch notes:
- Added historically correct(?) Tank Troops badge insignias for all non-Guard regular Tank units; Corps, Divisions, Brigades, Regiments and Battalions. Golden means Corps, White means Division or Brigade, Blue means Regiment or Battalion.
- Changed location of Order of the Red Banner insignia to top right for 1st and 2nd Red Banner Armies.
- Included folder 'Original' which contains the handful of Tank unit insignias that comes with the original game, for backup purposes.

Some have the Order of the Red Banner award added to their insignia, if they were awarded before the start-date of the Grand Campaign. If you know of more units that fill this criteria, and the award (or other major awards) is missing from the insignia, feel free to contact me.

The Soviet side can create new units, these units are not present in the editor, most of the time. Because of this there may be some insignias missing due to oversight. Feel free to PM if you notice something missing.

Yes, completely compatible with any other mod (that doesn't alter Soviet Unit insignias). It just adds image files, no settings are altered.

Updated to v1.6
Adds 140 new Soviet unit insignia

v1.6 Patch notes:
- Added insignias for all Cavalry Corps and Divisions.

A golden symbol indicates corps, silver indicates division.

The double sword and horse-shoe badge and the blue color seen in the per bend background were used by the Soviet cavalry troops during the Great Patriotic War.

The yellow text on cavalry units indicated it has a higher base morale value than regular units.

The 6th and 11th Cavalry Divisions have the Order of the Red Banner, Order of Lenin and Order of the Red Star badges added to their insignia as these were awarded before the start of the Grand Campaign scenario. If you know of more units that had major awards before the start of the war, but they are missing from the insignia, feel free to let me know.

Update v1.7 - NKVD Units



Patch notes:
- Added 71 new insignia for all NKVD units. Trying a different technique to make the text more readable, but some of these full unit names are long, and there is not much space. Should in any case be somewhat easier to read insignias in v1.7 and forward. (If you can read russian )

The People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (Наро́дный комиссариа́т вну́тренних дел: Naródnyy komissariát vnútrennikh del), or NKVD for short, was the interior ministry of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War (WW2). If you want to read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NKVD

The Internal Troops of the NKVD wore blue caps, Border Guard Troops green. Unit insignias have corresponding ribbon colors.

Update v1.8 - Railroad Engineer and Engineer-Sapper units



Patch notes:
- Added 404 new insignia for Railroad Engineer (NKPS Corps & RR Construction Brigades) and Engineer-Sapper brigades, regiments and battalions. Engineer-Sapper brigades have a golden badge, regiments and battalions have silver. Badges are historically accurate (as far as I know).
