This may have been fixed, I've been away for a few days.

Updated last week and did a double check today. The version number in the Startup splash screen is different from in game.

That is normal for beta builds, but shouldn't be for official updates. I can't speak to the Matrix version of .34, but the Steam splash screen version is correctly saying it's .34.

Launcher.exe.config line just needs updating to 1.04.114734, can do it yourself if bothers you till next update, change this line:
<add key="GameVersion" value="1.03.114730" /> <!--Game Version-->

I'm good, just thought it might be an issue.
