Looks like I misspoke on a possible solution. I've resolved the issue and the good news is that the games will not be lost, and you will be able to continue, but only once the hotfix is available.

I've kept at it, and believe I once again have a possible solution here before the hotfix is ready, can you please place the following file (this is a new download file relative to the previous downloads I suggested), from the download link, into this folder?

If on STEAM:
\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Strategic Command WWII War in Europe\Pbem\DAT\v1.22.00\

If on MATRIX:
\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\Pbem\DAT\v1.22.00

If on GOG:
\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Strategic Command WWII War in Europe\Pbem\DAT\v1.22.00

This should resolve the issue for anyone currently experiencing the above problem.

Here is a download link, you'll just have to unzip it, then place it in the applicable PBEM\DAT\ folder, e.g. it will overwrite the existing v1.22.00 folder and replace all the DAT files in there.

After that you should be good to go for all the campaign matches that were started under v1.22.00

Error message: CRC32 values does not match \v1.22.00\1939 Storm over Europe.dat

I'm still experiencing this problem.
