Does current seekers of ARMs in game are limited by operating bands? Or they go after any active radar signal?

If they could be limited by target's band then for example AGM-45 Shrike could be simply set to target only bands E, F, G, I. Ie. combination of its homing heads variants from AndrewJ's table.

This would make it more realistic in its capabilities and at the same time it will be still simple to use without need to actually deal with homing heads.

Interesting. While doing some additional reading (Specifically, Milan Vego "Soviet Naval Tactics, US Naval Institute: Annapolis, MD, 1992, pg 217) I came across this sentence: "For example, the 43-to 54 nautical-mile-range AS-9 Kyle ARMs carried by Backfires and Badgers are used for defense suppression tasks when penetrating airspace or attacking CVBGs...." So, there is at least one reputable source that indicates that the AS-9 had the capability of being used against Naval targets, and not just land-based SAMs. With that said, it would be a difficult system to use in conjunction with 200+ nm ranged AS-4s.

Interesting, I wonder if they were used in support of navy Su-24s launching the AS-13 Kingbolt or early AS-18 Kazoo which had about a 60nm range. I think the AS-17 Krypton was purpose built for that however.
