I also wanted to add that I upgraded my drivers which were 3 years old, AND the biggest gain which I figured out was, for anyone that has it- turn off CCS.exe adobe creative in app. start, its a friggin index and and page hog..... My game performance went up 30-40%..the game is actually pretty smooth now, units highlight quickly etc etc.. MUCH more enjoyable....

Berto,thank you to! this has been something of an education for me, matrix said upgrade drives, frankly I was on that anyway....

I did some internet reading, re; resource allocation per app., my wmi( win. mgt instrumentation) was running at 35% cpu usage so I tried to run down processes that makes it constantly run or 'page call'. I found that error by running my event log and noting the services and noting the app id, that were erroring, meaning wmi was constantly trying to refresh it, then you go to task mgr,go to processes tab, look under PID column and find the process number, disable, or go in and restart ( or disable it) and viola....you can see the timestamps so you know when the error occurs, like when you simply start your compute and, if they are constant, you've got a problem
I re-installed my bonjour because I have an Iphone and need it, creative cloud I use rarely etc..

Anyway I only note its for others that may have issues with Lag etc....
