Erik,
Just noticed it says attachments are limited to 250KB, in the AAR section the old forum was 1MB, elsewhere the old forum was (I think) 500KB.

The Font is way to tiny. Now I have to hold my laptop up close to read the messages that I get....GP
The first post has a tip on going back to "wide" mode. You can also use Control+Mousewheel to zoom in on any web page to make it larger.
The Control Mousewheel seems to work for now....GP

Addendum to my previous post:
The 250 KiB limit was enforced, however in the last few minutes the limit changed to 10MiB. I just tested with a file listed (in Windows) as 1,069 KB and it worked perfectly!

I was just coming to post that this limit should now be changed. Please test it out wherever you can.

Yes, it did change and now my old screenshots are showing up.
Is there a reason why we can not attach txt files to a post?

Yes, I did a short time after my initial post (there is a further post above) - works great!
Thank you!!!

Is there's somewhere I can go for basic instructions.
For instance haow do I know I've not read something by looking? How do I mark a topic as read/unread. Opening and closing on the old one worked for me but this doeasn't! I used the mark topics link at the top and nothing seems to have changed?? Likewise the subforum link.
What are the significance of the blue/gey left hand symbols? I thought they indicated read/unread but they do not. Is it the little red symbol? This does disappear if I close the forum and reopen it. It does not if I read the topic and go to another.

Wow, I completely agree with this. The old font was much better. This makes reading the forum a real headache, literally.

Nice new forum site. Looks good. I will also chime in the font is a tad small but I can live with it. Beta is looking sharp. I have a long campaign (in 1006) at max map size and its humming along nicely.

As a forum mod, how do I do the functions like pinning and unpinning threads and stuff like that in this new system?
Thanks.

I'm sure I'm just not looking in the right spot but what do the different topic icons mean and why are some gray and some blue?
Thanks.

The font for the main text of each post is exactly the same in type and size as far as I can see. You may prefer the "wide" forum option, or use the control-mousewheel to zoom in to where it's more comfortable size-wise, but the new forum did not change the font size.

I downloaded the extension dark reader, it really helps the readability of the forum.
I have installed this and it does really help.
Thanks.

Everyone is different but on my desktop and my iPad the font size seems fine.
Missing Posts?

Yesterday before the transition I had 6,668 ish posts, when the old site went down. When the new site came up I had 6,698 ish, so a loss of around 70 posts.
I am still not seeing those (and I can't look back and see on the old site) it's no big deal but I was just wondering if we will have some lost posts and threads?

There are no lost posts or threads. There was a brief time yesterday when the non-final new forum was up which hadn't yet had the final migration. That's since been taken down and the actual new forum here did not lose any posts or threads in the transition.

I had a typo it was 6590 posts when the new site came up so I did loose about 70 posts somewhere, but no idea where or what since I was posting right before and after. Anyway no biggy.
