Thanks Andrew.

Some of your points are intended (no SAM reloads, delayed realization the shooting war has expanded etc) but there are a lot of good points that I'll fix up.

Hi Gunner

Thanks for another great and challenging scenario.
I have a few observations though.

Four of the SU-34´s are tasked with a ship strike but are loaded with AS-15 Kent missiles which are land attack only.

In the briefing you change between using NATO and russian designations and sometimes mix them.
It have nothing to do with gameplay, but it triggers my OCD :D , and I don´t think a NATO mission briefing would mix the designations. The Iskander is SS-26 Stone, or 9K720 Iskander-M, not SS-26 Iskander. Likewise the Pantsir is SA-22 Greyhound.

Please feel free to disregard this if you don´t think it´s important.
It´s mainly my OCD but I had to say it ;)

Hope this helped and please don´t take it the wrong way.
This is really nitpicking.

Søren

Hey Bart,

Just getting set up for a go at it. Looks like fun, similar to the Med Tsunami Scenario so I'm interested to see the differences.

I noticed CAW-1 on CSG-8, VAW-126's E-2's should be five (5) E-2D's. The Seahawks upgraded in 2016.

Good catch Al

Any idea if the Hawkeyes are of the refueling variety yet?

Just took a look at Mediterranean Tsunami and there are certainly some parallels. Med 22 has much more of an international flavour to it, but no Israelis or civilian traffic.

I'm running the latest version now. The NFZ is in effect, but hostilities have not commenced. I'm loving the tense waiting for the go ahead to open fire, especially since i've got two subs locked down.

I'm very interested to see what Pacific-22 has in store.

Yes I like that tension as well. Additionally you will/might have a short while where Russia is not sure if the shooting war will expand beyond Ukraine. Of course your actions can and will likely dispel that illusion quickly.

I'm building the Pacific right now. Its tricky:
-Keeping Japan out of the fight
-Limiting strikes to 'not Russia proper' which I am generously interpreting as the Kurils
-Reagan is in her annual refit so Abe Lincoln is in theater covering the gap

This should be a bit of a cake walk so I'm going to limit it to 24hrs

Yeah i'm 45 minutes in after the NFZ is active, and no shooting yet.

Bart yes they are the refueling variant and I believe updated electronics.

This scenario is definitely has much more of an international flavor. Mine was largely American.

Just started playing this one and so far it has been great!
Now that a new version of the database has come out, can I update it to the db 494 without any glitches?
I have never done a db update before so I don't really know how it works

That should be fine. Not sure it will impact the scenario or not.

Updating the DB is easy enough, There is a Video out there as well, not sure. There are a couple steps so just take it slow and know where you have put the SDB file and do a 'deep rebuild'.

What would the benefit be in updating to 494? Is there one?

Only if one of the platforms in the scenario has been updated. Not sure if that is the case or not

The only thing I did was go to Edit scenario, then Editor/database/upgrade scenario to latest database/Force deep rebuild

Isn't that enough?

Ok so that didn't work out so well, I lost all multi-mission Tomahawks but gained a F-ton of TLAM
