I’d like to agree. The Civil War was vast in scope, and this map reflects that. I have to say that I think it’s at about the perfect scale. I’d personally like it to be a little more vast, but I’m not sure that any playability to be gained by that would be worth it, so this is fine.

Personally i think the map size is fantastic and please dont change. Initially it does seem overwhelming particularly being an Aussie my US geography could be better. I found though very quickly i got used to it and I now love the scale. I would like more strategic command games to have larger maps.

Actually, the map is far too small and war in the Eastern theatre cannot be properly represented.

I agree the map is too small, but then again it's Strategic Command and that's how they wanted to represent it.

I recommend and hope that someone will do a mod that encompasses the Eastern Theater only (or the Western Theater only) where units are brigades only and each hex is 1/4 mile.

Or, do away with the divisions (except for Cavalry divisions), brigades and regiments and just use corps
