When I was last messing around with these (I didn't like the image for the T-55's), is looked like most were pulled from https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/ (Edit: the mod creator literally mentioned this as the source, I'm dumb....). Thanks, yeah that was just a typo. It was more that the MTLB-2 in-game doesn't have a "real world" 1:1 exact match.
