I really like the alternate hypsometric mod! Thanks for that. I think that's my favourite of the three options now available.

I did a clean install, then updated. Couple of things:
The 2d blue water mod still appears in the JSGME options, though blue water now seems the default.
I quite like the new unit box images (everything is very clear), though I wonder if they would be better without the black outlines. I found, so far, one image which obscured a stat (the assault value number):

- 1.gif (30.84 KiB) Viewed 718 times
The included community mod - 'community info box mod' doesn't work, I think. This is what I get:

- 2.gif (1.4 MiB) Viewed 718 times

Yes, the 2d Blue Water mod is no longer supposed to be there as it is now the default.
Good point about the Community Info Box, it is based on the old style so will no longer work.
Thanks for pointing it out!

Check out Options > Unit List > Unselected Highlight > Black/White/Alternate/None. In combination with Options > Highlight Colors, there are dozens of ways you can configure the 3D unit image outlines exactly to your liking. Experiment!
(And don't forget Options > Show Counters, where instead of displaying 3D unit images in the Unit List it shows counters, with various configurations, instead.)

Regrettable, yes there are a few oversized unit images that slop over obscuring the values. If it bothers you too much, a solution is to switch to displaying counters in the Unit List.

On the bright side, that value is actually just 0, so it isn't obscured too badly.
Artillery in general has an assault value of 0.

If you look closely at the screenshots

you will see how, with the right Options settings, you can sync the on-map highlights with the Unit List highlights.
We worked hard to make the customizations as flexible as possible.

Fantastic. Thanks. I'm still trying to work out all the new things in here. It's a great update. Just about to start on a Dak To scenario to test it all. Many thanks for all the work that's gone into this update.

When applying the new CSVN 1.30 Update, the standard recommendation:
- Backup any existing install.
- Using Windows Add/Remove Programs, uninstall the game.
- Reinstall with 1.00 (the original master).
- Update to 1.30.
People are free to try updating from 1.23 (or some earlier version) to 1.30, but the above procedure is recommended.
