Unless Im missing a graphics mod somewhere, for me at least, it would be nice to have better appearing vehicles.

The Graphics of the infantry are fine, but the straight "top down" vehicles I do not like as taking away from the iconic images people generally remember of Sherman, Tiger Tanks etc in photographs/drawings etc;
and also helps to better project graphically the power and might some of these vehicles can have.

Perhaps the "top down" view tilted a wee bit to get some of the side and the front of the vehicle on the counter to better get an overall look at it, however not too much so facing is still identifiable on the map on which direction its facing. Sort of like how a square or rectangle shape can be slightly tilted to an isometric view in which that square is now cube.

I might buy it, but what's putting me off so far is that it appears the maps are just the size of one ASL board? Is that the case? If so that does put me off. I used to play games with 8-10 boards (probably never finished them to be fair!) Can someone confirm the max map size?

There bigger than one ASL board, I have only play out threes scenarios (2 from DW and 1 from Stalingrad), both tutorials are 2-3 ASL maps and the other DW was pretty big. I can take a look tomorrow.
