Wow, by the time you apply the average gaming review magazine curve, I'd say that 79% equates to about 90%.
PC Gamer has always been notorious for having one of the toughest-to-please bunch of reviewers in the biz. 79% is a great score to get from them.

Hi guys,
we´re proud to announce that TOS- WS scored
8.5 / 10 at Deafgamers.com . This is a very special review. Special in the way that it made us think of a fact we never really realized.

I picked up the latest copy of PC Gamer today, specifically because I saw ToS in the table of contents mind you, but I picked it up, which is my point.
They give our favorite pastime 79% which is alright. Should have been 89% in my opinion, but apparently their wee reviewer can't figure out the interface. I admit it isn't intantly apparent, but certainly alot clearer than he gave it credit for (he should have visited us

). That was his only real complaint though. Excellent review overall.
Lovsteve.
I have a question, is this the October issue of PC Gamer ?

This is the November 2003 issue that has Gandolf the white LOTR cover.

Ah I see. Here in Germany the October one is the latest you can get. I was about to freak out when I had a look at it and couldn´t find the reviews

.
So are the issues allways published two month in advance

or do subscribers get them earlier? thw two magazines from the futurnetwork I ´m subscribed too are actualy delivered a week earlier to the subscribers then they appear at the newsstands.

I bought my copies at the Borders bookstore.
Looking at the issue I just noticed that Korsun pocket was also reviewed with a 93% and Editors choice pg 106. The reviewer loved it.

On one hand I'm really happy with 79%, on the other I'm a bit sad that it is because the reviewer had so much difficulties with the interface. I'm still confident that the interface isn't that bad (nor is it excellent). I think TOS: WS suffers from its unique turn sequence and some players difficulties to get a grasp on it. Our failure was to explain it and the difference in length with the manual.
