So, it´s been 4 months or so since the announcement that Matrix Games is taking over the CM series.

Have there been any indications yet from Matrix about what their plans are for the future of the series?

Apologised if I´ve missed something.

Not much official info yet, to be honest. From the chatter on the forums, it seems like they're still in the integration phase.

Hello - I am curious about the latest roadmap re: "we plan to enhance the series with cutting-edge technology and innovative gameplay"
Is there an existing conversation on this that someone could point me towards? I'm curious what the bottom line is. I was super excited to read the quote above, and I read it as CM (finally) getting the modern polish that it so deserves! So, I'm very curious as to what the plan is and the timing, and what the next game engine will be. thanks!

Good luck getting any advanced information on it on a public forum. We likely won't hear anything until they have advanced development where key requirements have been locked in and it's nearing the early beta stage. There are several running conversations about a CMx3 engine over on the Battlefront forums. The only messaging approaching official is that they intend to keep all of the concepts that make the CM series a success and incorporating the Unity game engine.

Well, end of war seems near now. I am thus wondering about this DLC. All this work lost, this is too bad.
