Sorry if this has been asked before.. the manual shows a cruiser with all or nothing armour and an upper belt. I thought they were incompatible choices. That said I'm viewing on a mobile so maybe I have not seen clearly.

Just booted up the game and experienced a bug today that I wasnt experiencing yesterday:
HAA refuses to update properly when designing/refiting ships. Can only force it to update, at least visually right now by making sure guns are set to DP, removing/adding and then changing amount of AA directors, but even this does not always work. HAA is set to value when auto-design is used.

Checked that this bug is not save specific and exists in any other saves I loaded as well. Have not checked in battle whether the HAA is actually updating behind the scenes as well, or only in the ship design window.

Do you mind uploading a save and a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Attached you will find three screenshots. How should i attach the save game as there is no possibility of uploading that filetype to the attachments? It should be noted I discovered a workaround by switching the secondary turrets from 2-gun and back again. If i want to utilize DP secondaries this only works if i go to single-gun, ensure DP is on and then go to 2-gun.

Thanks for the screens. To attach a save to forum, you need to zip up the appropriate save folder and attach it as a reply. If the save is too large, you can then send it to this address at maxim.k@slitherine.co.uk.

I've only recently bought the game so unsure if this is normal behaviour (I'm using the latest beta). France 1890 start. Germany and Austria allied very quickly and then Germany DOW so even without AH joining in I was blockaded immediately. When AH joined in I was stuffed. Accepted their harsh terms due to unrest. Fought against an arms treaty but ended up with the lowest tonnage except Spain and AH but much worse was thgt the parliament reduced spending to the point I had less than a third of the budget even of Spain.... kind of a death spiral. No prestige to mitigate and all tension increases were with GER and obviously I couldnt afford another war with them. See attached. I thought I'd scrap my fleet and rebuild but that got me fired. :D

Tried to detach a ship. Not sure what happened, maybe it self detached shortly before. anyhow the procedure could not find the item(ship) but despite those 2 errors nothing happened, ship was detached afterwards...
And yes - newest (78 beta) version

And, haven't seen it happen in early versions but as Russia I have just been surprise attacked for the second time by Japan with torpedo boats :)

I don't anymore... in future would you need just the bcs file or the whole save game folder for that save?

Here is another example of the Assert error for negative budgets - the AI will keep cutting your budget to the point that even if expenses are 0, it will still give you a negative budget. I kept the minimum two ships to meet FS requirements so my Prestige didn't collapse before the end the game. The AI thought I didn't need to pay even them! There should be a floor to the naval budget - maybe 5% or 1% whatever.
