Where have you installed the game?

It does not matter what the order is for the switches. This is my full path and switches "D:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific AE\Beta2\War in the Pacific AE Beta.exe" -pxf1900 -pyf1000 -cpu4 -dd_sw -altFont -multiaudio -deepColor -skipVideo -archive -w.

Note the location, I'm running 26b which is still considered a Beta. If your running 26a or 28 then the default location is \War in the Pacific AE\, without the Beta2.

If your still getting the problem then it is something on your machine but I have never ever seen anything or experienced any such thing.

I've changed the pxf/pyf and no changes. Not expecting any. I moved -deepColor to the front of the list; shot in the dark and it's still dark...or pink. Upgraded to the .28 from .26a after trying Seabee and getting no pw data. Did not change. Seabee is a lot easier but I don't know if it does anything that isn't done by the command line.

What's weird is that it was running without the pink highlight and after a week of not playing it now does it again. I figure it's got to be something on my computer, I just cannot think of what is.
There are 2 errors in the command line, should be

-fd -altFont -cpu2 -pxf1920 -pyf1080 -deepColor -multiaudio

I did not cut and paste and typed it. There are no commas in the command line.

Here is the cut and paste though II had to put the initial " character in and it missed the cut "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -fd -altFont -cpu2 -pxf1920 -pyf1080 -deepColor -multiaudio

It had been running fine. Then after a week of no playing it changed. It has to be some setting in my computer that changed. I just don't know what it is. I am on an Alienware Area-51 laptop {2025}. Ultra 9 275 and the 5080.

OK. Add this to the command line.

-dd_sw
