A pair of examples when Engaged defensive goes wrong, and setting "Auto evade to No" solves the problem.
I am still standing scenario. Finnish land units ordered to protect a Nuclear Power Plant, they move to a zone around it.
The red attacks, not them though, and they are in Engaged Defensive, losing their path to the zone.
Setting "Auto evade" in one of them to No, immediately changes the path and arrives to the zone.
Defend Luzon scenario. Distant and slow Shaheds cause a Burke destroyer to change status to Engaged Defensive.
The location is the bay of Manila, I thought it was a good idea for defensive purposes. However the destroyer moving N will find the coast soon and the movement is slow and erratic.
Solved by setting "Auto evade to No".
