I have carefully studied the situation, worked through each of the options available to me before taking any action....
If this was a campaign game I would be pulling out my core and calling in reinforcements. As it is, I think that would only prolong the agony. The afrika Corps is steadily advancing. The north has fallen, the center crumbled. All that remains is the south -- and that isn't doing too well.
Alas, you can't win them all....

With the loss of pretty much all the armour, the Brits, over tea, decided that Al Timbre wasn't all that important after all. If it was, High Command would have sent something able to fight against Gerry.
I surrender. There is no point continuing this blood bath.
I don't mind taking the Brits again, but the desert is no place to stand off against Pzr IIIMs with 2 pounders. :rolleyes:

as the enemy choose to fight another day, in al timbre was left a small garrison of italians while the main german army drives east ! over the suez canal - into the far east to shake hands with army group south in russia
