Question please calcwerc: how do strat bombers hinder supply? I know they can smash up industrial centres, but supply too? What do you bomb with them for this purpose? Roads & rail?

Check this screenshot, its from the TRP mod, but the basics are the same.
The Axis player has invaded India. Instead of engaging the Japanese troops with land forces, the Allied player decided to attack their supply. The villages and cities are bombed with strategic and medium bombers, the ports are blockaded with vessels (it suffices one vessel to avoid a port getting supply, be he uses two so that its capacity will be reduced over time). The Japanese units will over time loose readiness when their supply is gone, and when they are rebuilt, it will be at full cost when supply is lower than 5. After a while they will be a walkover for the allied ground forces.

There´s a lot more to this, but this is my basic point.

Bombing railways or roads without supply centres is not possible.

If you want to win as Allies, you must keep the USSR in the game.

The way to do that is build as many units as possible and retreat, do not be concerned with losing capitals.

Use the UK and USA to help build minimum corps size units, preserve those units and USSR will never surrender.
