How did the Germans manage to capture Ivangorod when they started with only one corps adjacent to it and a fully entrenched Russian corps holding it?

And how has he managed to get AH surface vessels from the Adriatic into the Black Sea? Surely the Entente's naval superiority in the Med would have made that a very risky endeavour, especially given that Greece is still neutral.

Artillery and a big difference in troop quality. Though I have to admit it suprised me as well, fortress provides a nice +3 bonus to the defenders...

As for AH fleet - it is quite a usual trick: scout the way with airships, then naval cruise. My mistake as well - forgot to cover the coast of Greece. Not that it matters too much in the scope of things.
