As a sum up:

You deleted the P-18 Spoon Rest radar out of the SA-2 Guideline sensors

You attached the Spoon Rest radar to another side: "EYES"

Interesting results!
I also placed a standard CMO SA-2 Guideline facility (with only the Spoon Rest operating) in your example scenario and there the radar track was more realistic, with speed and altitude.
I was thinking about placing zones around SAM sites with events triggering missions but I like this idea of yours about comms.
Both are still quite some work.
But why is there no speed and altitude in your setup?

Here is the same setup of thewood1 plus the standard CMO. Compare this result:

I updated your scenario with a standard CMO SA-2 in another side (standard CMO) to see it for yourself:

I am missing your point. I know how I built it. You don't have to tell me. It was test of comms in an IADS where attacking a central comms node disconnects search radar from the SAM. The set up is very little work to begin with and is even easier using exports and imports. You have all the tools to do it. Its like anything else in CMO. Its how much work you put into it at the beginning that drives results.
