In any case, the behavior/planning/gameplay improvements sound very exciting!
No, ground units (and facilities) are still essential; they form the "building blocks" of AGUs.

Are you familiar with TOAW? If yes, remember how you built e.g. a battalion unit by putting together troops, tanks, supply trucks and all other individual units for that battalion's TO&E ? And how that composition automatically gave you all the battalion's properties like its offensive & defensive strengths, mobility rating, supply requirements etc.?

Very similar thing here.
Funny that you mention TOAW. I just fired it up a week or two ago and started thinking how a much simplified version might be used to enhance ground operations in CMO. Looking forward to see what comes out of the pipeline.

Thanks for the support. That sounds like a good division of labour, as my previous attempts to post fault reports were none-too-successful. I remember raising an issue on Persian Pounce and being told that the file attached as evidence was too big to be analysed (surprisingly enough, as it's a big scenario).

I get the impression that the devs prefer players to set-up small 'scenarios' via the Editor to showcase particular problems and, while I can see the merits of this, I lack the necessary Lua and other Editor skills.

I will check to see whether I have the latest version before starting Pacific Fury 6 and, if I get performance issues (with my anti-virus in Gamer Mode), I'll see what I can do.

To make it plain, I am not trying to criticise the Development Team and I appreciate what they do.
