I didn't find them offensive. Startling, but not offensive. (Now if they'd been nude photos of Bernie.....)

I, too like my whiskey old and my women young. My birthday fifth of scotch lasted nearly 10 months (that's pretty old by some drinkers standards) and my wife is 41. Six years younger than I, but old by some other's standards.

I'm pretty sure that neither of those 'hobbies' would qualify me as an alchoholic or a cradle robber. (I guess I gotta get a life, huh?)

BTW, Bernie you removed the links - could you IM them to me. I gotta get drunk and do nasty, un-christian things to myself sometime this weekend. :rolleyes: As an alternative, perhaps I could line up a bunch of pixel Brits and blow the pee-waddin' out of the Italians. Where's the love?

Bernie: I'll leave you with those last comments. Thank you for the link removal, as perhaps despite your giving me all kinds of reasons why not having a warning was the better course, and still liking that to agreeing with me, you've doubtlessly agreed with the idea of nudity not having it's place in these forums, however grudgingly, as well. I would like to point out that ironically enough, through no fault of my own, it is I who am now promoting the nude site, through virtue of quoting you earlier, which Capt. Pixel so aptly pointed out (though they'll vanish upon completion of this response). BTW, the avatar I sport is a hamster not a chipmunk, and his name is Penfold, a character from the Danger Mouse cartoon series.

Charles, you should really read what you're replying to.

I never gave you "all kinds of reasons why not having a warning was the better course" In fact, early on I agreed with you that a warning might have been needed.

I also never "doubtlessly agreed with the idea of nudity not having it's place in these forums" What I agreed with was that the actual posting of such photos (not links) would be inappropriate. There's also a major difference between posting graphic porn and a link to a nude photography site that happened to have some photos of artillery on it, a distinction that seems lost on you. Your world viewpoint seems to be strictly black & white, good & evil, and I suppose that "works" for you, but is far too simplistic for me.

Not being a cartoon watcher I'm afraid I misidentified your avatar, but the point I had brought up earlier, that there are people who would find it offensive (based on a viewpoint that depictions of talking animals were tatamount to "witchcraft"... as a family I know believes) is still valid. For that matter, many of my Native American ancestors would be dismayed at my own choice of avatar. My point here is that if you walk in the "real world" there will always be someone's shoes you inadvertantly step upon. You can try to limit your impact upon said shoes, but you cannot live your life determined to avoid stepping on any. By the same token, people who choose to wear shoes that are especially large and easy to scuff should expect them to be trod upon more often than average, and realize that it isn't deliberate, but neither will the world change to accomodate thier footwear choices.

You can't please everyone all of the time.

Penfold's most endearing quality (or lack thereof) is being a coward, so I'd assume he'd run too well to get whooped. Gene's shoes would slow him down too much too.

I think you may be as wrong as you can be on that, as I would suspect Bernie of being the D. I'm a former Rep, or what I mean is that I thought more along their lines. I'm more Constitution Party now. The Reps are far too Dem for me.
