That's probably an understatement.
Actually, what I remember seeing is a drop-down listbox for each Team B Titan that gave it it's own objective. Something like "Patrol - stay on path", "Seek and Destroy", "Attack buildings". Those aren't the right words -- I don't remember it exactly -- but it doesn't sound like what I was looking at is what you're talking about. I'll have to give the editor a more thorough going over tonight.

Those are the titan behaviours, which can be set individually for each titan. They are not mission objectives.

B) Oh, I've got a few ideas in mind (and that should make you all sleep a little less easy at night

) but I thought I should get a little more experience with the game before I attempt one. I still think that a more varied set of objectives in a particular mission is in order. Right now, every mission's objective is, "Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out" right? Give the mission designer some more options and they can really get creative.
C) Maybe I'm jumping the gun. I'm starting to get the impression this game hasn't been out long. True?
A)You don't have to wait if you are planning on playing Deep Core first.
The enemies are sufficiently weak. Just save often and you should be fine.
B)Great, I have been hoping others would release maps. I would suggest a multiplayer map first. These tend to be easiest to do.
C)The game has been out since August.
Lil' help.

Still not finding any mission objectives. There's nothing in the menu items, there's nothing in the "Global" screen. Version 6.3.1 came with my disk. Where EXACTLY are the mission objectives?

A) Deep Core is #1 on my list, then. Still, I'd like to get the patch/upgrade on my system before I start. Not to be the guy that says where's the patch, but where's the patch? One of the posts made it seem like it's just lounging around on someone's hard drive somewhere waiting to be posted.
B) Actually, I'm working on a single player mission. Had an idea and started working on it. We'll see how it turns out.
C) OK. Fairly recent then. Let's hope a map/mission/campaign making flurry gets started.

The patch is at Matrixgames for two weeks and will be released .......
The editor shipped with the game is somewhat limited. We removed undocumented and/or cryptic functions. Guess the full version will be released in the future but thats not my decision.

Soooo ... MORE SOON on the patch, eh? Gotcha. <waiting semi-patiently>
I'll look forward to the full version editor but it would be nice to get it out soon. The initial excitement in the game can feed interest in making a map/mission/campaign which can then feed more interest in the game (if any of that makes sense). You'd hate to see someone's interest in making maps/missions/campaigns die out 'cause they can't seem to get done what they envision. Anyway, mark me down as someone interested in getting a crack at the full version.

Christian Haarman is the guy in charge of the map editor. If you think you can do a good job making maps, send him a private message. chaarman is his name here on the forums.
(Hope you don't mind me pointing people to you, Christian.)

The SUDG crew is waiting for their patch for... how many months, 2?
