Spread out your troops so they are tougher to suppress all at once. Generally you are going to get hit hard + lots of Arty. If your units are tightly packed, you make it easy to surpress them all at once. As long as they are supressed, they can't find the trigger. [;)]

Having an Engineer unit makes pretty much for a sure thing if you have any around but only if they are not suppressed so make sure something is in front of them.
