Gentlemen,
Sorry to say this for those who have waited so patiently, but it looks like it will be tomorrow. Barring a complete and unexpected disaster though, I'd expect it to be online tomorrow by noon EST. We just have a few last things to finish in the morning that require us to work with Digital River during their normal business hours. Thanks for waiting, we really appreciate how much you all want this released, please keep the faith one more day.
Regards,
- Erik
Damn, I was so hoping for a Tuesday July 6th release. There goes my weekend... And Mr. Frag, keep jerkin those chains as some of these guys deserve it "is it here yet" posts. My Hero, Mr Frag! [&o]
And thanks Eric for your patience and the update!

I am so happy this is all I wanted .. to be informed... so.. if this was let out last week.. we could have saved about 2500 hours of forum time spent whining and either worked or asked rellevent ?'s, like " what does a carrier carry again?"

Matrix couldn't tell the future, they NEVER promised a specific date for DD release so I don't understand what all the whinning was about. People, go back and read Joel's update on the release prior to Origins. And tomorrow something else might happen to prevent the release and we may have to wait, the horror, a few more hours or days?!? GASP!
How will I survive without WITP? Guess like I have for the past 44 years. Looking forward to playing the game when it's out [8D].

NOTHING brings out the WORST in people than the immediate suspenseful period just prior to a long-awaited game's release. I swear, Mother Theresa herself could turn into the devil incarnate (with language to match) if she was online and waiting for her favorite game to be released.
BTW, I was around in the MOO3 forums in the weeks before and after its' release...trust me, the anguish was worse AFTER it was released. At least we know Matrix will deliver a solid, enjoyable and playable game. [&o]
