Well, you better start trembling because the USS West Virginia just left Pearl at full steam heading south west.

KB and some friends are waiting with open arms.[:D]

On another note.

Lemurs' scenario plays out in the early part of the war exactly like the original Scen15. You will notice in the next few weeks the increase in the number of Ki-43-Ib type fighters in use. I hope to have most Nate equiped units upgraded by mid 42. This is the time frame where you will really see the differences. Units in Scen15 that were equipped with Nates in say June 42, in Lemurs' scenario they should all be equipped with a better a/c.

I wonder where you sent the subs outside Pearl though. The level of ASW patrols I sent out from Pearl on turn 1 should have found something if there was anything there.

I just hope you didnt send them to the air-cover-hole between Pearl and San Fransisco...that would be evil [:-]

Operation "Kick in the Crotch" is now officially underway. In the next turn or two it will be decided. I managed to take Khoto Bharu and Davao which will hurt him. His torp bombers out of Singapore got lucky and put a torp into one of my BB's (will be laid up for a few months).[:(]

Hong Kong still holds out, but I am reducing the forts slowly. My upgraded fighter groups are slowly repairing and coming online. Had a scare outside of Davao, some dummy forgot to set CAP over my carriers when a few B17's decided to come play. A few more ships in the PI and lower DEI bite the dust.

Spotted the POW moving south towards Java. Wonder where she thinks she's going?

USS Houston buys it after running into the KB. The KB is currently south of the PI heading for Borneo. Looks like its gonna heat up in the DEI soon. Meanwhile Singapore is still open for business, inflicing costly damage on his transport units. Prince of Wales have slipped away.

Not included are his advances in the souteast where he cleared out all of the Gilberts, putting a real threat on the Solomons and the US-OZ lines of communication.

He have subs operating on the western seaboard. Which is bad :/

Operation " Kick to the Crotch" has yet to bear the fruit I want. But I have faith it will soon be harvest time. My wily opponent seems to be trying to suck the oil/fuel from southern Borneo. I have to put a stop to this thievery.

My sub losses have been very light so far. His of course have been very heavy.[:D]
A rampaging sub of mine is raising havoc off the West Coast of the US. I know 1 ship attacked yesterday was carrying troops and I believe it got hit again today. Hopefully it will not make port and he will lose ship and a unit.

My carrier force operating in the South Borneo area is racking up the kills. Most of my heavy carriers are resting and getting a few replacements to bring them up to TOE. Soon they will put to sea and cause a little panic. That will be operation "Highway Robbery".

In the PI, Naga remains stubborn and refuses to fall. I believe Panzer has decided that since he can not save them, he will fight with them. I will make him pay for this decision.

In Malaya, Megasi is still holding out very stubbornly. I have to get help there soon. Capturing this base is key to my plans.

Some maps of the current situation.

First Borneo. Here is where his carriers are (red) and where my ships are fleeing like a school of small fish infront of a shark (yellow).

Singapore. As you can see Tojo elected not to march south into Alor Star with his troops. In fact he seems to be neglecting the entire west part of the Malaya penninsula in favour of a quick strike down towards Singapore. As you can see, when Mersing falls, the Brits are in deep trouble, so lets keep our fingers crossed for the lads in 22nd Australian brigade defending Mersing!

And finally, the situation in the lower NEI. It looks like mr Japan is aiming at a quick knockout blow to the NEI by attacking simultaneously on two directions. Luckily Singapore is still strong air-wise, and that has put a serious dent in his plans to attack from the Saigon-direction. And I decided to rebase all Dutch airunits from Borneo when I saw the KB approaching, meaning that the NEI is still protected by relatively intact airunits.
