Windows mode is in 32 bit color depth if you have set that in your display properties (compared with 16 bit full screen). That's why it looks "better".

Much simpler to edit the font in the exe instead of screwing up your system fonts. Of course it it unsupported, but you and a hex editor could get friendly [;)]

LOL. In my technical school programming class, our instructor would give an F to a program that had even a single go to loop. Then he punished us by making us learn cobol.

COBOL as punishment? Did you know COBOL was invented by a female US Navy Admiral?
At least in so far it is a very appropriate programming language for WitP fans.
