Wake still falls too easy... fell on the 7th right off, somehow I think the Wake troops need a tweak to make them able to hold off the first wake attack... grumppp

Digital trickle is a tad slow at the moment.

Doh! 6 hours later and I'm stuck at 72%. Connection refused for last 2 hours+ Hope I don't have to restart all over....
Has digital trickle allocated any bandwidth for this new patch?

Well my 1.3 restart has the Wake defenders defeating the Japanese on turn 1. The Japanese troops are still on Wake so perhaps turn 2 will paint a different story, we'll see. I did hit 2 ships in the landing task force causing light damage with coastal gun fire, so perhaps that made a difference.
I too noticed a much better initial strike on Pearl then I've seen before, 2 BB's sunk and the rest mauled very badly, most with 80-90 sys plus floatation damage and fires.
Anyone notice the Chinese units are at full strength now with about 1/3rd damaged equipment? Perhaps China won't be such a pushover now. I looked through the patch pdf document and didn't notice the TO&E strength change noted, so perhaps Matrix should add this to the documentation.

D/L'ing the big one - seems a slow connection to Digital river tho - mind you the matrix site as a whole seems slow today. Is it all us lot getting 1.03? Can't wait to play - just rang in sick!!!

Same here with the site being very slow, as well as the download. Whatever issues there are with Digital River, bandwidth doesn't seem to be one of them. Pity the Matrix site isn't a bit faster.

this matrix/DR dl sucks big time, why I have 4MBit dl if I cant get a faster conn then 100KBit to them [:o]
