Allied powers never surrender. You can knock them out of the game, but they can be brought back in by liberating the territory.

Victory over the SU is essentially acheived by taking the Archangel to Astrakhan line, at which point you hold all their factories (except Vladivostok) and have taken away their capability to fight.

Okay, sorry for the delay, here we go with several more turns:

Turn 6: Summer 1941: Japan

Ugh. I've so completely mismanaged Japan. One more bombing run into Changsha reduced the garrison there to just a handful, but I'm just woefully prepared for attacking the US.

I need to have about 100 supply to attack the US. I've got about 30. I need forces, and mine are engaged in China. Plus I've unfrozen the Soviets, so I'd better knock them out of the war or else Japan is in trouble.

Couldn't take back Korea this turn. Ugh.

Turn 6: Summer 1941: Allies

SU: Made one attack to push me out of Vologda, a territory north of Moscow (it was a mistake for me to take that, ah well). Not much else they could do, because right now, attacking me is certain death.

China: Moved a few units around to reinforce Changsha

WA: I hate the WA. They bombed Italy and Netherlands. They took out my artillery in the Netherlands, so I've got to get some coast defenses back there ASAP. The AI appears to be reinforcing India, to what end I know not...

Germany: Fall 1941

Ah, decisions, decisions. Moscow is takeable this turn. However, I opt to encircle Moscow instead, whittle its garrison down with airpower and an attack, and take as much territory as I can elsewhere.

Here's hoping it works.

Japan: Fall 1941

Trying to dig out...we take back Korea, and I take Iritusk in order to cut Vladivostok off from the rest of the SU - I don't want them sending the Vladivostok forces out west to reinforce.

Bombed Changsha again.

Built a lot of supply. Hope to be in a position to attack the US by Summer 42.

Fall 1941: Allies

SU: attacks in Archangel to re=open a lend lease line. Consolidates forces east of Moscow.

China: reinforces Changsha.

WA: Hits France and Netherlands this time. The bombing campaign is getting ugly. Thank god the US isn't active yet or I'd be totally open to attack in France. Going to have to wrap up the SU soon and redeploy.

Germany, Winter 42: the season that all the penalties hit the Germans. Luckily, I've left myself in good shape. Another massive, massive bombing attack destroys all the defenders of Moscow, so I send in one infantry to take it. Moscow falls! I use my armor to take as much territory as I can. I seize Grozny, cutting off the Caucasus. I stand at the gates to the Urals - the goal is in sight. The Soviets have a large force in Gorki, so I attack to attrit it (I don't want it attacking in the Winter when it can do a lot of damage). If all goes well, we will reach the Archangel-Astrakhan stop line in the spring or summer.

Winter 1942: Japan

Very little action. Built a lot of supply. It's really amazing how I've bungled Japan. Live and learn.

Winter 1942: Allies

SU: Grr. They take Yaroslavl back...stupid me, leaving it undefended. But it's a useless gesture. The AI spends the rest of its time deploying behing the Urals to make a stand there.

China: grows. I don't like the look of that.

WA: hammers me in France AGAIN, and clears a spot in North Africa. This is getting worrisome.

Germany, Spring 1942:

We take the Southern Urals, and all the territory to the north - the last Soviet western factory sits waiting in Central Urals for us to take it next turn. We also take the Caucasus, with its 6 resources. I repair a lot of factories and resources, and begin to shift forces west to attack the WA.

An invasion of England, perhaps?

Spring 1942: Japan

Japan takes Vladivostok (why not?). This will add much needed factory capacity and, more importantly, take that capacity away from the Allies.

Spring 1942: Allies

SU: flees east. They take back Iritusk from the Japanese. I can see that they will be an irritant until destroyed utterly.

China: reinforces.

WA: I really built up air defense in France, so they decide discretion is the better part of valor and do not attack. However, they send a cascade of naval attacks at me, and while I make it bloody for them, they do drive my fleet from the med (I had about 1/3 of the Italian fleet holding the central med this turn).

Summer 1942: Germany

The Urals fall. The war in the east is over. I still need to clean up Kazahkstan and Sevastopol, but that's not a huge issue. I've mentioned before that Germany is on a time table. I took out the SU as an effective fighting force 5 turns after the invasion (and was moving forces west 4 turns after the invasion). I feel pretty strong that type of timetable is required if the Germans are going to win (note: they can still force a draw if they don't knock out Russia). Now it's up to me to force things to a standstill in the West.

The Battle of Britain begin: my bombers damage 2 factories, a rail line, and a resource, and take no losses.

Finishing Turn 11: Summer 1942: Germany

I repair and prepare where I can. Partisans, partisans everywhere!

My main effort in the production phase is getting ready for the Western campaign. I build transports in Germany & Italy, and spend a lot on supply. Plus, I create militia in Italy and Rumania...poor sods whose lot in life will be to patrol the provinces of the former Soviet Union.

Germany's population will not support extreme unit growth, so much of its production is thrown into research efforts.

Turn 11: Summer 1942: Japan

Final preparations are made to attack the US. It's either hit them in the Fall, or watch as they enter the war against us in the Winter. Ugh.

I build as much supply as I can - should have 92 supply total when the attack begins, but I will be short on transports and infantry. Going to be very dicey.

Turn 11: Summer 1942: Allies

SU: Takes back North Persia. Dying efforts of the fallen colossus.

China: nothing of note.

WA: Bombs Italy to little avail. Reinforces islands off the coast of Spain, making me thing an invasion is near. Time to act.

Turn 12: Fall 1942: Germany

Well, my supply and rail situation is completely strained. I do manage to kill most of the remnants of the Soviet army.

But that's not the big prize, oh no.

The big prize is....SCOTLAND! We launch an all out bombing campaign, destroying their coastal defenses, then send an armor and infantry unit, with more bombers, to take the province. I move my new transports up to stock the newly taken area with infantry, more armor, and...FIGHTERS!!! to take out the air defenses of London. WhoooohooooO!

Turn 12: Fall 1942: Japan

I do a quick check of the manual and realize I have one more turn before the US activates. Cool. I repair some partisan damage and build supply for the big invasion.

Turn 12: Allies: Fall 1942

SU: bombs a unit in Caucasus. I care.

China: nothing of note.

WA: inflicts some minor damage on the fleet that invade Scotland, forcing a retreat but exposing itself (and losing a lot of naval assets). Bombs my forces in Sardinia. Boo.

Turn 13: Winter 1943: Germany

MUAHAHAHAHAHAH.

London falls.

The fighters and my tac air from France decimate the RAF. Then the forces from Scotland, supported by heavies from Germany, take London. This will give the WA a quandry. Now, to make the place a deathtrap for any invasion...

Other forces are deployed to prepare to take Spain, in order to seize control of the last remaining gateway to the Med.

Soviet mop up continues.
