Sometimes if you use Copy&Paste there are unwanted spaces etc. that are not immediately recognizable by eye. So just try to type it in, if that's the case.

Hi Erik:
I downloaded the utility and it retrieved the S/N and it matches the one on the Registration but when I install the game it says I have an invaild S/N. I purchased the game as a download on 7-31-07.
I do not have the order number or the credit number details.
Is there anyway I can get the game to work?
Bruce

Hello all,
For those who absolutely, positively, can't find their serial numbers any other way - please download and run this utility. It requires a valid, legal installation of War in the Pacific. If one exists, it will tell you the serial number that was used to install it. Hope this helps, but the best "defense" is still to keep your purchase records and installer files backed up and safe.
Regards,
- Erik

My username is Tactics and my associated e-mail is xxxxx,
I had to format my C drive due to a virus and I lost War in the Pacific. I purchased it several years ago and cannot find the CD. How can I re-download this game? I do have my CD key, but no files.
Thanks

Erik,
This may be a strange question but here goes anyway. I already know my Serial number for Witp.
But I also have UV. And since I went to the members area to check out the new AE goodies I wanted to
register UV as well. I have a cd-rom version of UV but no records of credit card, or email receipt.
Will this finder retro work on UV?
Thanks,
rhohltjr.

Nope, the earlier versions of UV in the retail box had no serial numbers. They were published before we even had a serial number system, which is also why all UV updates don't ask for a serial number. Newer digital download UV releases do have serial numbers. Unfortunately, if you have one of the early releases there's no way to register it as the whole registration system is based on serial numbers and we put it into place once we switched over to using those.
