Not that I want to sell my copy [:'(] but did anybody answer the orginal question? When he sells the game and the new owner sets up an account will the old account be simply deleted for example?

Good point, this is the original question (badly put in my first post). Any answers on this? I would like to keep my account since I also have WITP, which I definitely do not want to sell. Can a game be transferred to another account?
It is more like a theoretical question by the way.... While you can easily sell boxed games, how do you sell a digital download. Is that even possible?

While the game should be attractive to the masses with few units/territories and easy handling, it falls short because of the reasons mentioned. It's a big shame, I was looking forward to this game, but its more like puzzle than strategy.

Sorry, I was not clear about this.
My problem about selling is technical, I have an account with Matrix. If I sell WaW, then how will the new user get the updates? I surely do not want to pass my account details (I also have WITP which I like despite its problems).

I don't understand. How will the new user get the updates? By going to the download page and clicking the link, same as everyone else. Getting WaW updates has nothing to do with your account.

I bought WAW a few weeks ago, but I am very disappointed with it. Can I sell it?

Did you ever get an answer to this?

The biggest transparency issue, imho is the potential for game-destroying actions with very little warning. Some of these are actions that no reasonable player would ever exectute, but the game allows them happily with very little warning nonetheless. Some just have big consequences, and a little popup explaining the consequences wouldn't hurt.

These are:

1) Attacking frozen Western Allied territory. (Bringing the US into the game)

2) Removing garrisons.

3) Invading inland China.

4) Attacking the USSR as Japan (Meaning any advance into China will lead to war with the US

can't think of more, but they are out there.

Still, imho, this is the best game of the year so far - have gotten a tremendous amount of fun out of it so far, and I hope to squeeze out even more in the future! :)

Well Nr. 4 happened to me. Yes I know it is written somewhere in Manual Page 87 or somewhere there in the last three lines of the page.... Still sometimes a little bit more information would be nice. There are a few issues which annoy me. You can“t see for example in lower resolution with a glance where the rough terrain is. It would be nice if the computer gives you a warning like if you attack the UDSSR now the WA will declare war. OR simply a message the US will enter the war next turn etc. though you can plan ahead a bit . Yeah you could memorize the manual.... A small option like autohelp for example to remember you in advance for certain things like. ThE WA will not supply 3 supplies form Spring 1941 on anymore automatically. And still the order of the seasons. Starting in Winter is counterintuitive for me. Even if it seems to be correct still the first quarter of a year I think 95,0% of the people will call spring and not winter.
