Funny how India, with 200 million or so people, has only 2 Pop Points and no one seems to mind! lol! Keeping troops in the field requires more than a uniform and a rifle. Poland and France were wholey dependant on foreign supplies & equipment. Undestandable since their countries had been occupied, eh? And I'm sure those French Vichy divisions had lovely suntans, but were hardly modern troops.
Anyhow, to each their own! Nothing like a friendly debate WW2 was a close call, without any of the major contributors it could have turned out badly

India had a lot of people and by the end of the war, Indian army was numbered in millions. Yet, having a large number of troops coming out of India wouldn't have looked exactly as WW2 given the actual number of divisions deployed by Indians.

What we must realise is that population number in game does not represent the actual military capable part of population, but the game mechanism for fielding troops. Otherwise, there would be no way for Yugoslavia to have POP 3, while Rumania only 1, when these two countries had similar prewar population.

Take a look at Hungarians with no population while Bulgarians have one despite the fact that Hungarians fielded one army in Russia, while Bulgarians didn't.
