Well, yes the total destruction of the German and Japanese armies did let Canada "step up" two rungs on the ladder, lol!
Q: How do you make the French Army surrender?
A: Ask them nicely!
Funny how India, with 200 million or so people, has only 2 Pop Points and no one seems to mind! lol! Keeping troops in the field requires more than a uniform and a rifle. Poland and France were wholey dependant on foreign supplies & equipment. Undestandable since their countries had been occupied, eh? And I'm sure those French Vichy divisions had lovely suntans, but were hardly modern troops.
