Turn Sent to the soviets, who have put up a nice wall in the far east.[:-]

Did the turn and passed it to the Soviets, who should feel free to send more troops to the slaughter.[:D] The Soviets blocked my progress with 15 units. 1 tank, 4 infantry, 5 AAA and 5 militia. I attacked with 12 infantry and 3 artillery took 2 infantry and 3 artillery damaged. I took out all 5 AAA, a bunch of militia and some infantry. Followed this up with an air attack and took out every thing but the Tank. Keep them coming.[:D]

I am leaving on business travel tomorrow and won't be back until Friday the 24th. Sorry for the delay. I'll make my move promptly on my return.

Well it was bound to happen, the Chinese have attacked and taken a coastal province and I am now down 1 resource.[:@] Much to my shame I also forgot to build supplies last turn so I had none to attack with.[:o]

I am on vacation until July 2nd.

I'll be on vacation and out of email contact July 2nd through July 10th. This should be my last trip for several months. I will make my move promply on my return, assuming I have it by then.

Turn sent on to Dragol. Not much to say other than I took back the coast of China and built supplies. It will be a cold winter I think.

Now the long wait for Dragol to get back.

This is NOT the forum to post your communiques of game progress.
Notes of turns sent onward would be better done in direct emails.

You should start a thread in AAR(After Action Reports) to record commentary on the game. Should one not reply for an unusual time period, a post in the AAR is more appropriate<i think>

I didn't realize that our thread was so offensive to those not participating in our game.

We are not spamming the forums, we are not creating multiple threads, we are not making gratuitous posts, the thread title clearly labels the game in progress - what exactly is so out of line here that you feel the need to comment? There are several other threads in this forum that post back and forth as moves are sent. Sure this could also be done in the AAR forum. But, in my opinion, the AAR (AFTER ACTION REPORTS) forum is for telling a good story and let others get a taste of various strategies. I go there to read the threads about epic battles and clever tactics not turn sent, turn sent, turn sent.

So what exactly is your problem?

I think Mike's post was directed to the Tournament thread and ended up here instead, by mistake.[:o] So I do not think he was commenting on our game as we have very little information about the game in this thread, I have another game I am playing where I have given extensive coverage, from the Soviet view, and had no negative comments.

Mike lets us know if your post is miss placed.
