The Southen Vhexs are back in our control and a battle group is getting in place to try and tackle some of those Kingtigers. Kingtigers are streched across the battlefield providing overwatch, killed some infantry looking fro some tanks other than Kingtigers to tangle with at the moment

The Amercian's forward units have been spotted. Counter "Smoke" battery Firing. 60 mm Mortor teams trying to dig in near Center V-hex. Heavy Bombardment in Northern V-Hex by US 75mm MMH. The Americans have taken back the Southern V-Hex. KongsTiger Forward.. Macht Schnell !!!

A few infintry squads are killed but not much else we move forward expecting a fight and find nothing nobody a ghost town thats normally a bad thing keep moving men arty my be indound!!!!!!!!

I the north US airborn and German infantry battle at range , their rifles and MGs againt M1s and BAR's, except I am in the trees they are in the open [:)] however they have KingTiger fire support[:(][X(]

Turn 12, Vis. 23 Weather: Clear Moral: Ave. Sighting:80%
37mm Geryhounds with 4 man Recon squads are scouting our forward lines. They have platoon support from Airbourne Units a few Sections of Sherman Tanks. Center Sector coming under Fire. Shermans Spotted in the woods of the Southern Sector. The Town has been recaptured by the Americans. Allied Smoke screens falling on "future Objectives". Panzer Crop regrouping. Orders recieved!!!

Cheers go up in the North as a Kingtiger fall and is left in ruins, but the cheers are short lived as several Panthers are very close the enemy has dissappeared in the center, all that heavy metal has to be some where ? Thats whats worring me

Turn 15 Sept 1944

I might be able to mount an Offensive, but 7 out of 10 Panthers are broke down or immobile,[:@]And half of my tigers. For the Germans having the best armor in the world it sure doesnt show in this Game H2Hfr ver7.1. [X(] I never seen so many disabled vehicles without one shot being fire at them. It's sad....

your running too fast across the map slow down they last longer that way.

As my advance moves forward my recon and infantry units are finding mines lots of them it seems the Germans droped them in there advance, a .50 Jeep that was closing in on a suppressed 75mm pak found a mine as well[:(] . Engineers up lay some smoke a start looking.

Turn 20 The Allies have found our Zeigfreid Line. [X(] Over a million mines laid in WWII and most of them still where they were placed in the fields of Europe. The Ideal was to draw the Americans into the minefield and bombard them heavily. That did not occure. With per-turn point v-hexs I was forced to advance and was beaten soundly. Now they are only a delaying measure. Plus I dont remember pre-laid mines being discounted in the terms of Battle. Germans love their land mines. [&o] How do you think we slowed down the Soviets. [8|]

It seems my jeeps amd armored cars thisnk the mines are magnetic [:@]

Trying to flank engineers are working hard to clear and make paths for tanks

Turn 23 Front line taking a beating [X(] I rushed a Kongstiger up on a hill to fire at a greyhound. 6 shots and the greyhound is still alive. Ran off the bazooka team tho [8|] Our Artillery has run out of ammo, but we have plenty of smoke bombs left. Maybe we can chokem to death or maybe blind them. [:-]

Turn 24
Man what BS, a Kongstiger with no teeth, side shot by a sherman lol. I can see now that any elite german armor ant worth crap in H2Hfr. What a shame. I'm getting more kills with panzershrecks and land mines, Hell my Infantry kill moreTanks.....I sure hope this is not the same in Generals Edition 8.4 no wonder noone wants to play any more. Bad enough American air and arty have 0.2 call effect now I got Tanks that cant kill at point blank range or take a hit. I bet my grandma could kill more tanks with a "Rock" in this ver. Maybe I should try 100% spotting next time.

But I must say never in all my many games have I seen the number of breakdwons by German armor, I would like to chalk it up to my skill but that had nothing to do with it[&o]

Turn 25 10 Tens left, The Furher has ordered Us to retake all of Germany's Sacred Homeland Soil. [&o] Achtung !!! All Panzer advance, Into the breach , Damn the torpedos and full steam ahead.

Another Kingtiger is killed a M4a3 kills it a point plank rand, there are these bren carrier looking things the seem to have triple mount Panzeshreks on the [X(] They start firing things blow up, but they are a short ranged weapon a M10 takes out one at range.

A Jadapanther is killed by a side shot from a 3 inck AT gun and a Pz-III is killed after dueling it out with a Sherman 105 and a M4a3

Turn 28 Re-take land, I dont' think so, The Furher has no ideal what we're up agianst. our forces are out numbered 4 to 1. We have Armor units that accually run now but few infantry for support and our Artillery is down to only smoke ammo. What was the Furher thinking ????
