Just a thougth on the point of vehicles loosing their movement. I started to suffer from this. But have realised that many of them have at sometime been subjected to an artillary strike. Because I'm running the game on an old slow computer, I have to set my arty to 'fast artillary'. I suspect that there may be a case of vehicles being imobilized during the strikes, and we're not getting the message, which are not displayed in FA mode. Just a thought!

Its a possibility. Let us know the results, please, Dave. I never use the slow artillery so I haven't seen it either...if it is there. (G)..WB

Kartono, check all the things I mentioned earlier, c-c, suppression, unit status.

What kind of transport? Air, sea or land. You say paras so I assume glider or air transport.

I probably would have to see the scenario to dig any deeper. If none of the above are true, save the turn, and send it to me for a look...WB

I've just run a test on this, took a tank company then beat the crap out of it with artillary, set to fast artillary. Eventually ended up with three tanks that lost their movement, crew moral remained pretty much ok too! But there was no other indicator that the vehicles had been hit, other then that was what I was looking for

uuumm. I had used wizbangs,8in.,155mm offboard and 155mm onboard plus 2 flights of Mitchel bombers. I believe I destroyed about 2 or 3 German tanks caused abandonment of at least 2, and the infanrty that came at me had been chopped up abit. Also had some hits which did some damage to the tanks but the message went by to fast to read. It was set on slow and I could see most of the targets.
Do you think it's weak, I'm not sure yet.

One of the things we hope to improve is the suppression tanks get for "near misses", unfotunately its one of those things that "sounds easy" but time consuming...

My take on artillery and armor is that awhile artillery did not "kill" that many vehicles, the disruption it caused was considerable. We hope to show this eventually:-)
