It's that damn Boise (Brooklyn class) that fragged alot of those Japanese ships...Something about 15 x 6"/47 guns...IIRC it's armored like a CA almost too, the reasoning for classifying it as a CL was the gun size though if memory serves. It displaced 9,700 tons, which to me is well into the CA weight catagory.

What a waste of good Japanese CA's, oh well...[:'(]

In fact CL Boise and Marblehead escaped. CA Haguro and CL Java sunk from naval damage. Only CL Tromp was picked up by Nells.

If the is no other raid on Entreprise, she'll have no difficulties to escape. We'll see

I guess she had trouble after all,but now she's all calm & content with the fish,at the bottom of the ocean.[:D]

just so there is justice in the world i really hope the ship gets below 20% flotation damage then founders in port! muhahahahaha [X(]
