What are you using to project the maps onto the Google Earth images? I want to see if I can do it for HTTR as well just to get a clearer 3d image of terrain and see if it helps in planning etc.

You can add the graphics from within the application using the "Add" Menu and choosing "Image Overlay."
I'm trying to construct a COTA overview using the scenario preview published some time ago... for as much as I know about the Greek campaign, this is a very eductional experience for me.

Dave with your permission I'd like to include the scenario descriptions so that when you click on a battle icon, you get a feel for what happened and what the scenario will offer...

Just to answer your question above about UK, Yorkshire is often hit by water restrictions on drier years as most of the rain falls on Lancashire first as it comes in from the west. London is likely going to face water restrictions this year, although frankly if Thames Water could actually keep the water from pouring out of the pipes in leaks, the problem wouldn't be as serious. Spring was very dry this year, unfortunately.

Thanks Agema,
Yes it looks like "water" is going to be BIG news this century. I recall reading an article back in the late 70s talking about potential crisis in the 21st Century and higlighting water - access to it - as being a key issue. And that was in the days before global warming was an issue.

Will I be able to create a Salerno scenario from COTA? Here is a screenshot from Goggle Earth.

John,
Do you really want to fight there?[;)]
My father in law was in the British 46th ID that assaulted Salerno. He reckons one of his comrades went white overnight after what he described as the worst night of shelling he experienced. Pretty grim stuff.

I've got some very good materal about the Salerno Invasion [:)] Wonder what would happen if the Allies invaded the island of Corse and Sardegna. Use the airfields to bomb the Axis and force the Germans North instead of digging in. Wouldn't of been a bloody mess then.
