Face it, Mogami. given all the games you have going and the total number of turns you play in a day, you are just going to have to stay wasted 24 hours per day. So suck it up (the suds I mean) and start rowing to SF.

You'll never do it. Ned Beaty manning his trusty 40mm brofos will stop all jap attempts. Combined with Wild Bill Kelso straffing with his P-40 and snipers in a ferris wheel will be too much even for the empirial navy.

Dec 9 1941
2 IJN submarines make attacks damage 1 Ak and 1 TK.
Davao captured.
Count 8 hexes from Wake east and from Midway west to see range of A6m2 flying CAP over Japanese supply line. 11 hexes for escorted torpedo attacks (after Wake built to size 4 currently only bombs can load to range 11 escort)
Japanese supply line will of course be north of Wake Midway line but enemy will have to traverse attack range to get astride it. Japan does not have enough ships to patrol line from Tokyo to San Francisco. LBA will have to do most of the work. Northern Japanese bases cover northern approach.

Hi, The direct route from Tokyo to SF runs 15 hexes north of Midway (normal range for Torpedo but not escorted)

Hi, I agree send your donation to "Mogami Invades San Francisco Beer fund" I think I should be required to drink at least 12 Pilsner Urquells per turn. I will refuse to make turns if I don't have 12 PU first.
Here is a 'virtual Pilsner Urquell' for you... sorry that it is somewhat consumed already, don't know what happened there... (burp).

Just some probes of the frontlines, seeing where/if you have any commitments there.
Other than the occasional attack on shipping in the PI/Celebes area not much in the wide world, other than north of Midway;
Subs that were pursuing/intercepting in this area have gotten the first good contact.....or should I say many contacts...they will be busy cleaning the bilge for a long time after this...incidently, the second attack on the AP Yokohama was on the surface....this commander has to be looked at closer for a newer boat in the future.

I take it there are no house rules on the number of ships in a TF! And yes, Japanese ASW was pretty poor until some idiot Congressman publicly announced that the Jpanese were setting their depth charges too high.

This is the kind of situation that should have the majority of players puking. Look at the massive abuse of the bogus ASW model. Why this is still possible in this game is beyond me, but then again, there is so much which needed a fix and still goes without I've given up. And no, I won't buy WITP2 since it should have been done in this version.[:@]

Hi, Ron can't make up his mind. He crys if 1 Japanese ASW weapon hits a USN submarine and cries when the entire IJN misses.
It is not a monster ASW TF. There is not one single Japanese TF assigned the ASW mission. That is the collection hex for the IJN. There are currently 20+ TF in the hex.
Japanese surface TF sails into Tarakan and sinks 2xTK 1xAK no enemy warships encountered.
South Sea Detactchment lands on Midway and is repulsed with heavy loss.
