difficult job to report slippages (you're bound to get some idiot who takes it as a sign that the game company is poorly run)
Nah, reporting slippages is no problem, it's giving the minute-by-minute updates that is tedious.[:)]
But anyway, like Eric said, we expect to have the game for Gencon, and I'm as excited as both Eric and David, but when I have laid hands on it and checked components, then I'll let you guys know. Can you pick up pre-orders there? I'm not the person to ask, but I doubt it. Matrix uses Digital River as their order processing agent. I can't see how an order placed through them for shipment could be filled at Gencon. But hey, like I said, I'm not the person to ask.
Best,
Mark

Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to arrange pre-order pickup there, since payment has already gone through DR and an order will be shipped from their warehouse. I'll see if I can figure something out today, because I would certainly like to make that possible for you.
Regards,
- Erik

payment has already gone through DR
Has the credit card already been charged? I cannot remember which one I used, but I consolidated my bills and cancelled one of my credit cards. If it has been charged, no problem, but if it has not, there is the possibility of a problem.

My credit card was charged when I placed the order. So I bet yours is the same. Which is kinda nice to know its already paid for. [:)]

Has it shipped? I get an error whenever I try and do the order status on the site...

I checked my status just now and it came up saying "shipment pending". There was no tracking number listed as well. I'm guessing that this means that it hasn't been shipped yet. I was hoping that it had since I'm leaving Sunday for my Navy duties abroad and was hoping to bring this along, now it looks like it's going to be even longer before I get my hands on it. [:(]

Day 23 sleeping by the mailbox.
Here it is! Yippee! Here it is!
No wait. It's just the new checkbooks. Rats. Looks like it's back into the washing machine box for me. But tomorrow is another day. Anything can happen. I'm feeling real good about tomorrow. [>:]

Hi Guys
Matrix always tries to ship the pre-orders first with the beta tester copies. Our production manager went over and above the call of duty to the point of shrink wrapping and driving them to the late night UPS drop off just to make sure we had just a few games at GenCon.
The rest of the games are being put together and shipped to our main warehouses in North America and Europe. In fact we are shipping all of our Euro pre-orders to our UK warehouse via FedEx Air to make sure our Euro customers wait the least amount of time possible. As soon as our warehouse tells us the games are there and shipping out I will let everyone know. Trust me it will be very soon.
Now Guys once you start getting your games I want to see your comments here on what you think.

Ok, any idea when Naval Warfare Store (
www.nws-online.net/) will get their stock? I preordered on their site some time ago (due to problems with yours).... and am eagerly waiting...

Hi Dan
Once we get the games into our warehouse and the pre-orders are shipped we will start shipping to our dealers. Chris and I have been in contact about this last week.

What about UK pre-orders?

We are aiming to get all pre-orders out at once, there should be no more than a day delay to get the pre-order games to our warehouse in the UK versus shipping them to the US warehouse.

So...? Just wondering if it shipped today or if it will be next week? I guess there's no chance it will be here tomorrow. [:)]

Definitely early next week. Some of the games are on the way to the warehouses, the rest will be on the way Monday. Some pre-orders should start shipping out Tuesday, the rest Wednesday. This is based on the latest info I have.
