Thats way cool Rooster!

Nothing like seeing the actual place to give you some perspective ... Not a big fan of that area of WW2 so most of them while being fun don't really have much meaning to me ... This really helps out!

Now I just thought of what I think would be really cool. A button in the game that when you hit it the game takes every unit in the game and converts them into KML file format and imports them to Google Earth as push pins and such. That way one could see the terrain 3D with all the units in the correct positions in the Goggle Earth map. I tried to do this manually and tedious is not an adequate enough word to describe the process! The info in the push pins could be the unit info and the push pins could be made to use the games icons so that they would be readily recognizable.

The reverse feature would be cool to where the game could read in KML files made from placing push pins into Google Earth. That might make map and scenario building easier in that one could import from Google Earth the push pin lat, long and elevation which then could be geo registered on the game map. I think that the overhead in learning how to work with the KML files may eventually pay for itself in labor savings down the road in that much of the scenario designs and map making could then be done right in Google Earth and then imported into the game. Also, one could have some awsome after actions that could be viewable by people that don't even have the game. Thus perhaps this would be good advertising as well.

Well, at least I can dream on! [:D] Meanwhile, keep working on getting out COTA!

edit: fixed some typos.
