I agree. Lets get people playing first, THEN you can adjust what needs adjusting based on feedback.

Luckily we wont be playing for large cash prizes or get hugely popular with the women for being the top god in WaW :)

Actually if I became the top dog in WAW the woman down the steet said she would show me her boobs[:D]

Ok seriously, I though I would suggest you check out this link http://tripleawarclub.org/forums/index.php
Its a newly formed ladder for Axis and Allies and I'm sure clausewitz can tell you all about the growing pains it went through to get running. His experience could be helpfull to you.

I agree with Scott War. At this time I would not be interested in ranked play for the reasons he already stated. If we come up with something set in stone that addresses balance then I will be interested.

Alright. It seems we have ~15 interested parties. While thats maybe half of what I hoped for I reckon we should go ahead regardless in the hope that more will follow.

I will draft a "points system" and a "set of procedures" and post them later today.

Count me in Jan; it would be well worth it just to find reliable opponents, although I accept Scott_War's premise that eventually you need a "fair and balanced" standard to play to.
