RE: AAR Barbarossa Southern Front

My performance has been less than stellar. The basic outline of what happened is that both of us deployed massively on the southern front. I expected one decisive battle (hence the use of an offensive chit) but didn't get too much benefit out of it. My forces are advancing steadily, but slowly - mostly by compelling c92 to retreat whenever I achieve a significant advantage in any given spot, denying me the ability to maul the Red Army. Riga and lower Dvina are still an impregnable barrier, however, but I've got some ideas on that count.

The current strategy (which is obvious enough to my opponent, I believe) has as its main objective the seizure of Eastern Ukraine before everything gets railed out and, north of Pripet, the crossing of Dvina at all costs. Finland is currently out of the war and the performance of my troops in the northern sector will determine exactly when I'll bring it into the fray.
