Willie's BB fleet paid a visit to Chandapur Harbor... well that was unexpected but by some mirracle only 5 or 6 transports were lost from with 3 were a decoy TF ment to lure his Nell's and Betty's under the guns of my Fighters[:D] any way Willie lost a CL to Air attacks and there is heavy Damaged DD running away to... Well i need to take some precoutions next time[:)] i moved cupple of Catalinas and Dornier float planes from the DEI to India to spoot such a threat if it comes ageain.... but i dubt that will hapen...

well Batavia fell im suprised that willie is using lots of troops here... what a waste i never had in mind to defend Java[:D][:D]

Well the Operation Linebacker didn't go well i tryed to copy Spruance actions ageinst me and set the 4E's to low level... lucky for me just few of them crashed... Now the Defence of PM is being preapared i have 40 P-40e's there and another 72 P-40b's is enrute + about 60 australian Hurricanes on Stand by ready to be transfered there... The aviation Rgt's and Base forces arrived at Numaea , Canton and Luganville... + some Air units in a week or two those bases will be large enugh to acomodate lots of Bombers... Well Willie made a mistake here... he send KB into the DEI wich were not ment to be defended and allowed me to send multiply convoys without fear of them being attacked... well i even considered doing a stupid thing... Sending 2USMC Div + Base force and Eng rgt with lots of supply to Tarawa and build a base right under his nose[:D][:D][:D] Pac Fleet sortied out of Pearl Today - Direction New Caledonia... i will have my CV's on stand by there if Willie try's to attack me at PM and his KB will sustain heavy losses i will strike him[:D]

Well Some action at Jap are sweeping Mandalay with about 70 Zeros + 30 Oscars the Allied Forces are trying to match the Japs but their superior exp is doeing its job... any way Yesterday i shoot down 5 Zeros and 13 Oscars with loss of about 30 Planes mostly Hurricanes... well i got over a 100 of them in the Poll... apart from that no action is taking place here. All of RN ships were Rebased to Colombo...

Japs took Northern Java as far as Tijatjap and stoped... hmmm they are probably resting[:)] Willie is bombarding some bases with Bombers and BB TF's. I decided to evacuate all SS in the area to Perth and when most of Willies ships will be send elswhere and then i will begin a sub campaign from there[:)]

I moved lots of Ground troops from the South to the Bases in the North to repeal any Invasion forces... plus i got about 100 2E bombers in Darwin

I got Lots of troops in the West Coast the just need transports wich are currently returning from Supply missions in the Cent pac Area... Bases in Canton , Luganville and Numaea are growing nice[:)] well willie wrote me something about Visiting Canton... well im ready for him here... Pac Fleet CV's are near Suva now and will operate from there... i plan to build a sub base on Canton but currently i lack the AS ship... PM has 2 P-40s FG covering the base as well as some Hurricanes ready to be shipped there if necessary[:)]

I got lucky this time... i grouped all of the RN in Colombo becouse some Emilys were flying Daily Recon of Madras... so i feard the Jap Invasion and suddenly there was a recon over Colombo... i figured out that those flights on Mardras were to lure my forces to Cejlon... i immidietly dispresed my ships at Top speed and gues what next day KB showed up and bomb the hell out of Colombo[:)] RN sustained light losses only CVL Hermes was Sunk and few other ships damaged... Counter attacking Swordfish were able to torpedo a DD from the KB. My Air units in India are weaiting till the Plane pool will be full ageain+ the new Kittyhawk fighters will replace the Bufflos and i will be ready for the next round in Burma with Willies planes[:D][:D][:D]

Willie is moveing on Sumatra... and i can't help it as Java is lost so from now on willie will be probably conquering every Resource base in the DEI... well in a month or two when wille will send most of his ships away i will start a sub campaign from Perth[:)]

Well al quiet around here... and now i got a puzzle... My CV are to take Upgrades in April and i think Willie could make adavtage of that... so is it wise to send all of them to SF in the same time[&:][:)]

Evil Japs landed in empty Rangoon 2 days ago... I moved entire RAF and US assets in the Area into Akayab and Mandalay. Well this time i was unlucky first Thunderstorm over my Bases prevented my planes from flying and when in the PM phase Rangoon was covered with Clouds[:(] Some Jap Fightrers showed over Mandalay...

Last bases on Borneo,Celebes, Sumatra are bombed by Jap ships... the absence of jap bombers allow me to thing that they will show up over Burma any time soon.

All Australian Ground forces are positioned in Darwin and Perth to repeal any jap Invasion Atempts... the only thing i lack here is Planes... as most assets are concentrated in area Around Carnis to support the defence of Port Moresby... the most painfoul thing is lack of Base forces and Aviation RGT... but as soon as some more US will arrive at the West coast i will transfer them here.

PM is ready to repeal any jap Invasions... the Garrison consist of Australian Brg + some Australian Battalion and few Base forces and Av rgt... soon it will be Lv5 Airfield and with over 300 Av support i can accomodate a large force there... now there are 2 FG of P-40 about 100 Planes + a Hurricane Squadron and a Mitchel Squadron + some Floatplanes... My other Bases in Pacific are doeing well to as Numaea and Canton are Lv 4 and Lugganvile is Lvl 3 with over 300 AV support in every base i more then ready for the Japs. Every of those bases on those island consists of a FG plus a 2E BG. The Pacific Fleet is Stationing at Suva with 2 CV , 2BB and numerus CA's and DD's the other 2 CV with a BB and rest of the CA's and DD's are awaiting April Upgrade in Pearl... there are numerus convoys running around the Area carrying planes , troops and war material.

Tommorow over 2K AP's will strike a single jap div near Changsha... i need to push the japs from there to relive my defenders... i will now try to get all the Dakotas in the theather to Burma and run a daily supply transport to China... Well Willie is Annoyed with my Il's bombing Hanoi[:D][:D] and that is my goal for now[:D]

Well Japs are masing in Rangoon now there are 14 units there... well soon the offensive will begin[;)] hope im Ready for it... Blenheims from Mandalay were ordered to strike Willies Ships but bad weather prevented the attack almost every day[:(] only one AK was hit... those bombers also bombed Rahang one day destroying 2 Zeros on the Ground... im totaly concerned why willi's air force is so passive... well one month more and i will have Spits flying here[:)] The one thing that bugs me is the lack of Brit Subs in the Area... well i think i will send a couple from Perth[:)]

Willies Recon Checks Lae and Buna every day... maybe hes up to something here[:D] Lots of Convoys every where shipping Troops and War Material...[:D] Canton island will be the base of a sub Campaign directed on the Willies ships in Salomons... Well the Good news is that im getting better and better odd's ageainst 3 Jap units cut of W of Changsha now its 5-1 well i hope i will be able to cripple them before some help arrives... another Jap division is cut of N of Changsgsha but i need to weait a week or two and let them starve some... the bad news is that Willis bombers are destroying my Airfields... well maybe its not such a bad news as my airforce is far back...

My Il's visited Hanoi and blasted 3 HI there[:)]i know its not much but i would be pissed of if some inexperienced planes would blow up my industry[:)] Well the Battle of Changsha continues... but i forgot to make a screan shoot but i will do better next time:) Willie Attacked Sian with something like 300K troops well im sending some reinforcements there[:)]

my planes stroke in return but with no luck[:(] next time im goeing to prepare for his visit... i will position my CV TF consisting of Yorktown and Sara just outside his recon planes from Rabaul Range and i will try to intercept his forces... + i send like 10 Subs and will place them on the aproches to PM maybe they will make a lucky shoot[:)] 3 of my subs mined Kwaelejn and from what i checked Willie didn't spoted that[:)][:)] In other news lots of Convoys around Pacific with no opposition... A great Victory is Achived as a Division and 2 Brigades are cut of W of Changsha... and the Intel intercepted a message to those forces that no relive will be send[:D][:D] you can see those doomed units on the Embeded Picture... Japanese attacks are betten of SE of Sian... but the fate of the battle is still uncertain...

Well Palambang finaly fell... well i know that happen but i counted that some Resources will be damaged... but Willie took it without any damage, Jap troops landed on Timor and took the base on East edge of the Island... Kopang was also invaded but japs didn't succed in taking the base... My Hudsons damaged some AP's but nothing serious... one Dutch sub was damaged near Celebes but i menaged to sing another AK[:)]

Summary
Well i think im holding out good... Recent Recon Flights of Willies Emilys indicate that he is interested in Numaea , Luganville well i got nearly 200 2E's there and about 100 Fighters so i think i could do some real damage to willies ships... Soon RN CV's will reach Pearth and will continue its way to Suva there i will station my fleet and i will be ready to counterstrike with 6 CV i can do some real damage[:D][:D] the surface fleet will consist of 2-3 US BB's and Repulse[:)] 4 BB's are completing their repairs in SF[:D]

This is the Sad day for the Allies... today Sara and Yorktown returning to Numaea were Jumped by Japanese Carriers[:(][:(][:(] In the Resulting A2A battle Both Carriers were sunk by the Owerhelming Air Strikes... During the Day Buforts from PM finished CA Kako[:D] i lost a single DD and the other one is severly damaged[:(] Canberra was also hit but i thik she will make it back.... Ok soon i will have 4 CV's in Suva i know the brithis planes are crappy but they may draw the jap fire from the US CV's and Marlet fighters are decent ones to[:)]

Well Willi is still not moveing from Rangoon... thats strange... well all my Blenchaim Squadrons were converted to Wellingtons ond one of B-17C BG was converted to B-25's with those forces i will stage some night Bombing runs on Rangoon to check the optimal Altidue for such attacks[:)][:)]

Well Willie moved troops north of Changsha wich allowed him to winthraw those surrunded troops but they are just to weak to do any thing else... In Sian i think i forced Willie into a Stalmate[:D]

Ok thats nice that some one is Following it... now time for a update of my strategy in the south Pacific theater:

Port Moresby was visited by BB bombardemnt force alrought the damage inflicted wasen't significant this raid forced me to plan operations "Hope" The main Goal of this Ops will be to stop Willie from Bombarding PM with surface ships 2 US BB's + Repulse with smaller ships support will be send to NE Australia and will be on stand by to move in to PM to stop the Japs... maybe if i will be able to inflict serious losses to Willie he will abandon PM invasion for some time... the surface fleet will be covered by Enterprise and Hornet + 2 British CV's well i know those are my last CV's but maybe Willie will send his Bombardment force unescorted... and even in case of an encounter with japs maybe they will hit RN CV's... any way im little dissapointed becous i can't bomb Rabaul Willie stacked up 8 AA units there... probably similiar number in Rangoon and Lunga so even 120 B-17 is not helping[:@]

Well operation Hope will be ready in 2 Days when 2 CV Tf's will Reach their starting point... the only thing that i await now is Willie Batlle Fleet... I spotted some transport heading for Gili-Gili... and Japs landed in Lae... that means Willie is on the move... now i will just weait till his BB's show up... B-17 Stationed in Luganville spotted CV Akagi Damaged in the previous Battle anchored at Tulagi... the follow up strike put 5 250 lb bombs wich penetraded the ships deck... the inteligence indicates that the sys damage is 99 and the floating around 30... well Akagi left Tulagi and sailing with 99 sys and some flooding could end poorly i hope[:D][:D]

Operation Hope is a Go!!!! today my forces begun to move i sure hope it will work... Well last night i was able to lure some Ca's to a place near Townsville to expose them to LBA attack well almost 100 Bombers hit the Japs and only two bomb hits were scored[:(][:(] 48th Div + SSD were spotted unlading in PM all planes have been evacuated... i hope my BB's can make some damage to the Jap transport fleet...

A small convoy carrying Supply reached Akayab hope my CAP can hold the bombers... Japs seem to be heading to Akayab via land road... well i will try to slow them down a bit...

Operation HOPE
During the Last two days this theather saw the biggest action till this point taking place in the Water off Townsville and Port Moresby... On the 23rd 2 Carrier strike Forces closed in to Townsville to meet the expected jap KB suspected in the Area... The prediction was correct but the KB apeared out of Range of the Allied Aircraft but the Allied forces were in range of the Two Allied Strike Groups... so the Japs begun their Assalut and were meet by about 40 F-4-F's and 40 Marlets + Numerus Kittyhawks , Huricanes and US P-40's in the Struggle Allied Pilots downed no less then 40 Zeros and 70 Kates and Val's they lost some fighters but no reall harm came to my fighter Groups... During the Attack Hornet , Enterprise and Indomitable were hit with bombs... as Kates coulden't use torpedos at this Range... on the 24th allied CV's used the Cover of bad weather to allow Land Based Aircraft to attack the KB if it closes in but it turned out that the Japs are leaving to NE[:D][:D] the jap CA TF attacked 2 days ago showed up near Rockhampton but the Buforts were ready and put 4 Torpedos into on of the CA's[:D][:D][:D]

Near PM surface TF consisting of Repulse , Colorado and Mississipi attacked japanese screaning force of 3 CL's and some DD's this resulted in 2 DD's lost on allied side and japs lost 2 CL's + number of DD's a MSW and some other small ships[:)]

In the Aftermatch the operation turned out a failure as PM will probably fall in a turn or two as my surface fleet didn't engage the Transports...[:(] the only good thing here is the preformance of my fighters who ware able to stop Japs from sinking my CV's... now they need repairs but since next upgrade is scheduled on 7/42 they will reach SF just in time for it... but this move will be made with every possible precoucion to do not allow the japs to sink my precious ships...
